We are looking for a Front End Engineer that will focus on building the Timely Design System, while working in a multidisciplinary team that builds and supports the Timely Platform.- Build our tokenised design system that is aligned with Timely’s direction as a Beauty Tech brand- Shape the future direction of our technology stack, that will increase developer happiness and productivity- Work closely with Timely engineering and product design, especially our front end engineers, our product designers, and leadership team- Mentor other front end engineers at Timely- Oversee with the rollout, education, and uptake of the Timely Design system- Ensure that our design system is compliant with the latest industry digital accessibility standards.

We’d love to hear from you if you have- Experience working with SaaS software, primarily working with frontend technologies.- Experience with React, TypeScript and StencilJS web-components- Experience with ASP.NET MVC- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or at least one cloud platform- Experience with design tokens would be a plus- Experience improving processes, or heading up a guild or practice would be a bonus- Self-motivation and pragmatism - you love working in a fast-paced environment and understand how to balance competing priorities and understand the benefits of delivering value to end users in an iterative manner- Excellent communication skills - you are able to clearly present your ideas and rationale from a remote work setting

The nitty gritty- This role is full time, permanent and can be based anywhere in Aotearoa.- You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.- The interviews for this role will total around 2.5 hours including a home task.- Applications close when we find the right person
