We have an exciting new opportunity available to join our Albany based Support Centre as a **Contracts & Tender Coordinator.**

As part of our Customer Team, you will lead the coordination, writing and submission of all tenders, bids and contract updates within required customer timeframes ensuring that each one is compelling, complete, concis, compliant and submitted on time. In doing so you will deliver market leading tender responses and provide an excellent impression of Mitre 10 to current and prospective National Customers.

**Reporting to the National Trade Operations Manager your key functions will include**:

- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated, e.g technical, financial, or legal and ensure that any bids comply with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies and seek advice as needed from other teams.
- Maintain all documentation including list of current and potential National Key Accounts, tender documentation, templates and provide monthly reporting on sales and margin progress of National Accounts and pipeline,
- Create high quality and competitive tender responses and materials including presentations that effectively communicate Mitre 10’s competitive strengths and solutions in an error free and well-structured format.
- Proactively search and track tender opportunities via subscription tools such as GETS, Pacificon, etc
- Coordinate regular customer presentations, updates and pricing extensions with customers as needed.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Experience in understanding tender submissions, Registrations of Interest (ROI), Request for Proposal (RFP) or similar.
- Sound understanding of legal, health, safety and sustainability requirements in submissions.
- Excellent written skills and documentation creation including presentations.
- Basic understanding of core building materials as relevant to tender submission and quoting.
