We are seeking a Coordinator to join our team of Kaiako for the Kaitiakitanga programme. As the Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting the learning and educational experiences of tauira, and the educational delivery within the Kaitiakitanga programme for our kaiako. This position is **permanent**, **part-time** hours (22.5hrs per week) based in **Māngere**.

Reporting directly to the Kairuruku - Arataki you will be responsible for:

- Providing exceptional administration and coordination support to Kaiako, the Kairuruku - Arataki, and the Kaitiakitanga programme
- Support the recruitment process for tauira
- Planning and organising tasks related to noho marae planning, booking of resources and classroom equipment
- Ensuring the kaiako receives adequate support with developing and maintaining teaching and learning resources
- Establish and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining and accurately recording results, data, and information within our tauira database and files

A Diploma in Business Administration is preferred, but we are open to considering those who have a desire to further their study aspirations. Travel may be required for this role so ideally you will hold a full NZ drivers’ licence.

**Please note**: This position is classed as a Core Worker under the Vulnerable Children’s Act and will need to pass a safety check, inclusive of Police Vetting, under the Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
