Day Services Support Worker Waikato

Based in St Andrews Day Service, Hamilton
- Permanent part-time position on a Thursday & Friday
- Have a full New Zealand driver's licence and be confident driving a van

**About the role**:
This role is varied and you will enjoy undertaking a range of activities with our clients, you must also be able to prepare meals for upto 25 clients and be confident to drive a 12 seater van.**This role is working Thursday & Friday from 08.00am to 16.00pm**

- Flexibility to work on a Monday to Wednesday as required to cover leave.
- Have a full New Zealand driver's licence and **be confident driving a van**:
- Experience dealing with dementia preferred but not essential
- Be creative and confident in organising and facilitating group activities
- Be flexible, adaptable and able to multi task
- Experience working and an affinity with older persons
- Be a team player and able to work well in a team..
- Be able to cook / prepare food for our clients whilst they are at the Day Service, up to 20 clients per day.
