Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced administrator to work in the Allied Health service in the STAR Centre. The successful person will have excellent data entry skills, be accurate, efficient, friendly and courteous and able to deal with a wide group of people in a shared reception area.

Tasks include managing all referrals, data collection, updating patient information, filing, mail, telephone enquires and general admin support for the clinical teams in STAR. There is also cross cover required for other allied health administration roles so cooperation and flexibility is a must.

This is a part-time permanent role 20 hours per week Monday to Friday (mornings) but there could be some flexibility around exact hours. There is the expectation that you may be able to provide cover for other admin roles due to planned/unplanned leave to support service delivery. There may also be other hours available on a casual basic as needed.
