We are a cosy and welcoming, inclusive and community focussed centre. We promote the joy of learning and working together to encourage children to develop their interests, imagination and individuality. The Centre is licensed for 49 children - 19 under 2s and 30 over 2.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated **Early Learning qualified Teacher **to inspire and be part of a great team who is passionate about delivering and maintaining a high standard to education and care for our children at the YMCA Taranaki Childcare Centre.

This role is a full time role of 30-40 hours per week with rostered hours between 7.00 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

We want a creative and nurturing person who will enjoy learning, laughing and playing alongside our tamariki and has the following attributes:

- Primary or ECE qualified
- Registered teacher or the ability to be registered (ie graduate).
- A calm and caring nature.
- Collaborative team player and a great role model.
- Ability to inspire and motivate children.
- A passion for early childhood education and delivering high quality education and care.
- A strong understanding of Te Whariki, assessment processes, programme planning and self-review. Be proficient in writing learning stories.
- A good knowledge of ECE regulations and compliance.
- Is energetic and a sense of humour.
- An excellent communicator (written and verbal).
- Innovative and demonstrates initiative.
- First Aid Certificate or the ability to obtain one.

This position is required to be performed by a fully vaccinated person as per the Public Health Order 2021 for mandatory vaccinations.
