- Receiving, unpacking, and shelving merchandise, monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and restocking shelves as needed.
- Ensuring attractive and organized product displays, arranging items according to store guidelines, and updating signage and promotional materials.
- Operating cash registers, processing sales transactions accurately, handling cash or electronic payments, and providing customers with appropriate change and receipts.
- Keeping the store clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including regular cleaning tasks, organizing shelves, and ensuring a safe environment for customers.
- Collaborating with store colleagues, supervisors, and managers to coordinate tasks, maintain store standards, and provide assistance when needed.
- Processing customer returns or exchanges, following store policies and procedures, and resolving customer issues effectively.
- Developing a thorough understanding of the stores product offerings, including features, benefits, and pricing, to assist customers accurately.
- Monitoring for theft or fraudulent activities, identifying suspicious behavior, and reporting any incidents or discrepancies to higher authorities.

**Essentials**:

- Relevant supervisory work experience of 1 year or qualification with a higher secondary schooling
- Prior experience in a retail or customer service role can be beneficial but is not always mandatory, as on-the-job training is often provided.
- The role may involve standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying objects, and performing tasks that require physical strength and stamina.
- Able to perform the tasks independently
- A passion for excellence in customer service and sales
- Position will require weekend work
- Public holidays and some split shifts
- Able to work late in the evening and do the closing of the business
