Over 300 people from 10 different engineering disciplines work out of our Wellington office, which has a depth of knowledge and exciting office culture that enables our people to play a huge role in the day-to-day life of people in the Wellington region.

To be part of our exciting growth, we are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced** **Senior Civil Engineer to join us and work with key clients in the transport infrastructure sector. Project work typically encompasses medium to large projects across Aotearoa, and you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects across the Pacific. With our strong focus on our people, we are open to discussing different flexible work arrangements for this role.

Working with some of Aotearoa’s best civil engineers to deliver flagship projects, you will:

- Be responsible for delivering projects on time and to budget while meeting client's needs and expectations
- Seek continuous improvement in the design process, including the use of new technology
- Provide support in developing proposals
- Communicate positively and effectively, ensuring that team members, managers and clients are well-informed of your project tasks.
- Be able to collaboratively undertake conceptual designs through to detailed design, contract procurement and construction administration with a small team.
- Consolidate and extend technical skills and show initiative in seeking learning opportunities
- Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills
- Develop and mentor others to grow successful careers
- Foster client relationships that contribute to repeat business

**About you**

You will have a Civil Engineering degree or similar and will be working towards professional accreditation. You will have gained experience in a consulting environment, working on infrastructure and multi-disciplinary projects and have a keen interest in road and transport design. You will design skills using AutoCAD, Civil 3d, Open Roads, MX or 12d.
