We're looking for an enthusiastic, smart auditor to help ensure GCSB's important work is done properly and lawfully. By providing a thorough audit of operations and ensuring they're done within proper boundaries, your work is central to ensuring public trust and confidence.
You'll work closely with managers to conduct audits, identify areas of non-compliance, risk and inefficiency, and then make recommendations. The work is complex, challenging and rewarding, and you'll contribute to protecting national security and keeping Aotearoa safe.
With your auditing experience in an operationally-focussed/operational organisation, you'll have a good understanding of the development of compliance procedures. You'll be an excellent communicator and be confident building successful and constructive and relationships.
This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment where you will lead in the assessment of the GCSB's success in meeting its legal and policy commitments.
To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
