Spotless (a Downer Company) is respected as a leading provider of comprehensive facilities management and asset maintenance services. Due to award of variation to our scope of delivery we are seeking a Building Maintenance Quality Compliance Auditor to join our Quality Assurance Team, Te Mahi Ngātahi Contract with Kāinga Ora. This is a permanent full time role reporting to the Quality Team Leader and supports the delivery of residential building maintenance services to tenants within the Kāinga Ora maintenance contract through the implementation of the quality assurance and auditing programme.

Your responsibilities will include;
Undertaking pre-work, in progress and post-work inspections of responsive and planned maintenance works to assess quality.
Identifying non-conformances and follow up completion of corrective actions.
Contribute to regular quality audit reporting including trend analysis.
Support continuous improvement process.
Monitoring of internal and external compliance with contractual, company and statutory requirements, and providing technical and quality related advice as required.
Ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented by the internal staff and the subcontractor base.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Building maintenance or construction works inspection / auditing experience.
Formal qualifications in a related discipline (Building Trades background would be advantageous).
Proven ability to prepare reports and gather/maintain data.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills along with attention to detail
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Ability to develop, build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders.
