We develop future-focused solutions generated from both mātauranga Māori and science and we recognise and value the knowledge Māori bring to research collaborations. We have a 12month fixed term vacancy for an experienced administrator based at our Grasslands Campus, in Palmerston North. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a full range of administrative and support functions to science teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Administrator that has an interest in Science & Agriculture to join our innovative organisation. **What you will be doing** Working closely with science teams and their leaders, you will provide all round support across the administration function to ensure seamless delivery across the organisation and a high standard of customer service. You will also: - Assist with financial administration processes. - Assist with contracting processes. - Book and coordinate travel for the team. - Organise meetings and workshops as requested, taking minutes/notes/action lists. - Coordinate and arrange events. **Your ideal background** Your "can do" attitude, tenacity and ability to multi-task coupled with great interpersonal skills and attention to detail will ensure you succeed in this role. As a highly organised person you are customer centric, practical, logical and thrive on the challenge of working in a busy and varied position.
