CDB are New Zealand and Australia's number 1 Marketer of Electrical Appliances and Electrical Accessories and have an exciting opportunity to bring a Territory Manager into their hard-working team. With a reputation spanning over 20 years, this New Zealand-owned company is a leading importer and distributor of appliances to the consumer retail market.
**The Role**:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll be the face of our company - you'll be out in the field working with our customers to develop our business as well as theirs. You will be joining a talented and experienced sales team who work together to cover the country and make sure their products continue to be number one in customers across the Retail Channel.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Driving sales growth and market share by exceeding set business objectives
- Developing new business opportunities using a range of sales techniques
- Proactively managing your accounts through exceptional customer service
- Building positive relationships with customers, and all parties involved in the sales process
- Act as a point of contact for existing within assigned territory
- Present our products and services to customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions
- Answer customer questions about features, pricing and additional services
- Cross-sell products, when appropriate
- Collaborate with sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach
**The ideal person will have the following attributes**:
- Proven Field Sales experience
- Be proactive in approach to secure sales and increase brand presence in a highly competitive market.
- Be a self-starter and self-disciplined in maintaining a regular sales call cycle with customers and key decision-makers.
- Exhibit resilience and perseverance in winning new business opportunities and securing sales from the existing customer base.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office and using a CRM
- Able to travel on a regular basis
Key to your success in this role will be your strong commercial acumen, exceptional customer service skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with existing key account customers as well as the ability to cultivate new opportunities. You believe in building effective relationships.
