You’ll be working towards becoming a qualified line mechanic, obtaining New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply (Distribution) levels 2, 3 and 4 in order to gain EWRB registration.
- At the end of the training, you’ll be competent in the installation, maintenance and replacement of underground distribution assets and poles. Operate ground and structure mounted electrical equipment associated with distribution electric lines up to 66kV.**What we’re offering**

**Who we’re looking for**
We’re looking for someone that’s had a couple of year's work experience, a proven work ethic and is keen to establish a solid career path. This position works outdoors and you must be keen to work in all weather conditions and not be afraid to get your hands dirty in this physical role.**You will need to demonstrate the following**:

- Commitment to a skilled career path
- A full, clean, Class 1 Driver Licence (class 2 licence would be an advantage)
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A great attitude and a willingness to be part of a team
