Annually, Police Intelligence produces approximately 50,000 products. Some are short and tactically focussed, supporting day-to-day decisions. While other intelligence products are more in-depth with a longer-term focus aiding the development of long-term operational plans and organisational strategy. We are looking for a leader who is people-oriented, self-motivated, innovative, resilient, and firmly focussed on enhancing decision-making within NZ Police. The Intelligence Operations manager plays a leadership role across NZ Police Intelligence. Working as part of the Analytics and Intelligence Operations Group, this role is responsible for leading national intelligence service delivery to planned and unplanned major events. The minimum criteria for this level of national security clearance is: NZ Citizen who has resided continuously in NZ for the last **10** years, or: - A Permanent Resident who has resided continuously in NZ for the last **10** years, or - A citizen of or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries **for the last 10** **years**: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, or United States of America, and has a background that can be verified by the NZSIS.
