Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Programme Manager (Reticulation Support) looking after the overall design, specification and scope of works in the maintenance and replacement of work detailed in our network assets in overhead and underground reticulation field. It will be critical to build strong relationships with local authorities and other utilities while providing technical support to customers in relation to the placement of lines and cables.

**The role**
- Accountable for the network reticulation budgets in the overhead and underground reticulation field
- Contribute to the Asset Management and Annual Reticulation Maintenance plan and budgets
- Plan and implement proposed road work that have electrical network conflicts
- Commission surveys, testing and inspections to minimise asset failures ensuring compliance is within regulation and Codes of Practice
- Negotiate new positions and associated costs regarding the placement of lines, cables and associated plant where problems arise

**About you**
- 5 years previous experience within the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground power distribution systems
- Level 6 NZ Diploma in Engineering or equivalent knowledge gained through practical experience
- Excellent communication and the ability to connect across various external parties with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Knowledge of the Resource Management Act, NZEP 34 and the National Code of Practice for Utility Operators Access to Transport Corridors
- Understanding of the NZ Regulatory environment and how it applies to the electricity industry
- Previous experience in Project Management or Contract Management
