Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

Carry out administrative tasks relating to functions assigned to the Academic Administration Services team particularly in relation to the setup and maintenance of all programmes on the Student Management System and related internal and external reporting requirements.

The Administrator is based in our Academic Administration Services | Te Pūkenga reporting to the Registry Manager and will be responsible for:

- **Programme Setup and Maintenance**: Ensure the timely setup of all programmes and fees on the student management system, maintaining accurate documentation and updating relevant databases and external websites.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Stay updated with information from MOE, TEC, NZQA, and other agencies, ensuring compliance with approval and funding requirements, and manage external reporting such as SDR and EPIs.
- **Process Improvement and Support**: Analyze and support improvements in student management operational processes, participate in user group meetings, and liaise with vendors on system enhancements.
- **Committee Participation and Approvals**: Attend and participate in Academic Approval Committee meetings, carry out delegated approvals, and report back on stakeholder requirements to relevant staff.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong skills in Excel (including pivot tables), Microsoft Teams, Word, and Outlook, along with experience in using student and learning management systems.
- **Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills**: Proven ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and effective filing of information, coupled with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- **Communication and Organizational Skills**: Ability to communicate complex information clearly, develop and follow project plans, and update website information as needed.
- **Adaptability and Initiative**: A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently, handle pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing compliance and regulatory requirements.
