**Company Overview**

The Robin Cafe Limited is a growing hospitality business, currently operating two well-established cafes**:Howick Village Cafe** and **Hello Stranger**. With a reputation for quality coffee, exceptional service, and vibrant cafe experiences, we are now embarking on an exciting expansion journey to develop and launch new franchise locations.

To support our growth, we are seeking a **Franchise Development Manager** to lead the strategic planning, operational management, and franchise expansion of our brand. This is a senior role that requires a mix of business development, financial planning, operational efficiency, and leadership skills.

**About the Role**

As a **Franchise Development Manager**, you will play a key role in development of The Robin Cafe Limited and/or its future iterations by establishing and expansion of franchise operations, ensuring consistency in brand standards, and driving business growth.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Franchise Development & Expansion**
- Develop and implement a franchise strategy to expand The Robin Cafe Limited into new locations.
- Identify and evaluate potential franchise partners and business opportunities.
- Oversee the franchise recruitment, training, and onboarding process to ensure new locations maintain brand quality and service standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and location analysis for new franchise opportunities.

**Business Operations & Strategy**
- Provide high-level administrative, strategic planning, and operational support to senior management.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for franchisees to ensure operational efficiency and brand consistency.
- Establish and refine financial models, forecasting, and budget management to support sustainable growth.
- Work closely with marketing teams to ensure consistent branding, promotions, and customer engagement strategies across all franchise locations.

**Staff & Resource Management**
- Develop and manage the organisation’s financial, physical, and staff resources to ensure smooth business operations.
- Lead, manage, and develop administrative and operational staff to ensure franchisees receive the necessary training and support.
- Monitor and improve operational performance across all locations, providing coaching and leadership to franchisees.

**Financial & Compliance Oversight**
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure long-term profitability.
- Ensure all franchise operations comply with legal, financial, and operational regulations and policies.
- Represent The Robin Cafe Limited at negotiations, industry conventions, seminars, and public forums to promote franchise opportunities.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field, OR at least 5 years of experience in franchise development, business expansion, or operational management in the hospitality, F&B, or retail industry.
- Proven experience in developing**franchise models, business growth strategies, and financial management.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and business development skills.

**Technical & Business Skills**:

- Knowledge of franchise agreements, legal frameworks, and operational requirements.
- Experience with financial planning, budget management, and resource allocation.
- Strong understanding of customer experience, quality control, and brand consistency.
- Ability to analyze and interpret market trends, feasibility studies, and competitive landscapes.

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
