Services to their 5,500 plus members include networking, industry advocacy, professional development, registration, and accreditation of education for quantity surveyors.
Working closely with the Membership Manager you will be responsible for providing timely and effective membership services, ensuring that members and stakeholders receive exceptional customer service.
This is a great role offering a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You will enjoy working within a small, supportive and collegial team and will play a key role in supporting membership services.
Just some of the things you’ll be involved in are:
- Updating and maintaining the NZIQS membership database
- Processing approved memberships, including invoicing subscriptions
- Processing member’s requests for use of the NZIQS logo
- Creating membership reports and statistics
- Organising Membership Committee meetings, including catering
This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5-hour week), with some flexibility on hours between 8am and 5pm. Most staff work from home one or two times a week, with regular days when the full team is in the office.
**Person Profile**:
- Previous administration, customer service or member support experience
- Experience in a customer/client centric environment
- Process driven, meticulous with good attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with a wide range of people at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills in both written and verbal form
- Organised with good prioritisation and time management skills
- Ability to learn and pick up new concepts, processes and systems easily
- A motivated self-starter who works well autonomously and as part of a team
- Possesses a friendly, positive, warm and helpful disposition
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information and remain impartial and professional at all times
- Confident with technology, computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
