Our Opportunity
We are looking for reliable and trustworthy individuals to join our team at Auckland Freight Centre, in Penrose as Shift Leader/2IC, who will form an integral part of the AFC Penrose team and will make a strong contribution to a high performing team and culture while maintaining high levels of safety and quality within Goodman Fielder.

**Shift Pattern**:

- Wendesday - 8 pm -2:30 am
- Thursday - 3pm - 2:30 am
- Friday - 3pm - 2:30 am
- Saturday - 2 pm - 230 am

**Hourly rate**: $33.00 - $34.00 p/h + night shift allowance

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick and pack products based on customer orders and ensure accuracy in item selection and quantity.
- Utilize RF scanning devices or other tools to locate and retrieve products from designated storage areas.
- Perform random checks to ensure accuracy of picked and staged orders.
- Ensure that all orders are securely packed to prevent damage and staged in the correct laydown area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including keeping pick face and packing areas tidy and free of obstacles.
- Collaborate with other team members and Team Leaders to meet daily KPI targets.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged products, or inventory shortages to Team Leaders immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts, putaways and stock replenishment.
- Ensure adherence to the company's Health & Safety and quality programme (RMP) to meet legislative, industry and best practice standards

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse pick packing environment.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Familiarity with RF scanning devices or other warehouse management systems.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic Microsoft office and SAP skills preferred.
- Forklift and reach license preferred but not essential - training will be provided
