**The role**
If you want to care for those who once cared for us, you need to join the clinical education team at Oceania Healthcare. We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator to join our education team at Oceania Healthcare.

This is a full-time fixed-term position for 12-months (with the possibility of extension), based in Auckland, and reporting to our National Medical, Education & Research Manager.
The successful applicant will have a current practising certificate and broad clinical experience. They will embrace the vision and values of Oceania and commit to ongoing professional development. You will bring your nursing education experience to provide evidence-based quality nursing practice through education of Oceania nurses, overseas trained nurses looking for NZ registration within the clinical setting in accordance with policies and protocols of nursing practice standards as well as healthcare assistants. You will work in partnership with nursing staff at the clinical placement and facilitate the provision of nursing education to current Oceania nurses and healthcare assistants.
**Key Requirements**:
- Registered NZ nurse with current APC
- Team player qualities are essential and so is a ‘can do’ attitude
- Teaching/mentoring experience in clinical setting
- Demonstrates commitment to clinical education
- Postgraduate nursing education would be an advantage
- Qualification in adult learning would be beneficial
- Demonstration of recent clinical competency
- Shows cultural sensitivity and safe practice
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanour and high level of personal integrity
