We currently have an exciting opportunity for **Structural Engineers (Intermediate to Senior roles) **to join our team in **Wellington **to work with an accomplished team of engineers and BIM specialists.

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with our global team of experts within a large and well-established international consultancy, giving you the opportunity to leverage your skills across a balance of technical work, project management and client relationships.

**This is a career growth opportunity that will offer phenomenal variety in project scope and will see you involved in**:

- Structural design of buildings and/or infrastructure including inspections, assessments and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects
- Working as part of a team on projects from conception, through to final design and construction surveillance.
- Project management and leading teams or supporting a team leader to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work on exciting projects both local and spanning the globe for a variety of clients including government agencies
- Ongoing training and career development opportunities with a consultancy spanning 5 continents
- A brand new vibrant, flexible workplace with hybrid working arrangements - (GHD will soon be moving into the new BNZ Building at 1 Whitmore).

**What would you bring to the team?**
- A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
- Membership of Engineering New Zealand, CPEng or working towards highly desirable.
- A passion for analysis, design and documentation
- Strong communication skills both oral and written (including technical report writing).
- A desire to continue learning and share knowledge, skills and experience through professional development.
- Excellent time and priority management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand Building Code and Standards.
- Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials within the New Zealand consulting environment would be beneficial.
