Our child-led nature based philosophy provides the essential connections that support the health and wellbeing of our children and their development.**Program Supervisor/Assistant **_- We have multiple roles for our nature based Holiday Programs and other events throughout the April holidays running across 6 different site locations in Auckland. We’re seeking positive, energised people to join our teams. You know how to mix fun with work, you’ll love variety, love the outdoors, and you’ll find purpose in helping children enjoy the unstructured, child led, nature based play activities that we provide.
- Some Key responsibilities will be;
- _Supervise and assist with the daily set up and pack down, carry out morning meeting with staff & children
- _Monitor children & provide direction to your team & pay careful attention to timekeeping throughout the day
- _Be vigilant regarding boundaries, ensuring safety and checking staff/child ratios & regular roll calls
- _Model & manage positive behaviour and support staff who are dealing with behavioral issues
- _Being very approachable, helpful & encouraging providing a warm, welcoming & positive environment
- _Supervise & assist with all essential on-site processes and administration procedures
- **Locations - **_Our programmes will be running across 6 different sites, so flexibility and your own means of transport is recommended.

You bring some people skills & will take the lead where required, you’re a good decision maker and you're confident with kids.**_More shifts / Other Programs - _**_Conscious kids has a variations of different programmes that we offer and therefore there can be additional work opportunities outside of the holiday programme that might suit your studies**_We place the Children at the heart of what we do so child health and safety is a top priority. We are indirectly affected by the Covid-19 health order or mandate. Meaning that in order for us to effectively and safely deliver our programs and to continue our work with/alongside schools, Auckland Council and other partners, vaccination is a requirement for this role and police vetting is routine in our work with children.
