Personal Assistant to Director

**About the role**
**Key responsibilities of this role, but not be limited to**:
- General administrative duties;
- Administration and management support to the director of MEC Engineering Consultants;
- Maintaining confidential files and documents;
- Assist the director with marketing operations, providing design, promotional articles, photos, and videos, and primarily with the day-to-day management and publishing of various media;
- Assist the director in managing the company's official website;
- Assist the director in maintaining communication and building stable relationships with partners, contract workers, clients, etc.
- Researching and preparing reports, briefing notes, memoranda, correspondence, and other routine documents;
- Attending meetings and acting as the director's assistant as required;
- Maintaining appointment diaries and making travel arrangements;
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail, filing correspondence, and maintaining records;
- Fulfill other duties assigned by the director;
**About the applicant**
**Successful applicants will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes**:
- Previous 3 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification of Level 4 or higher on the New Zealand Qualifications is required;
- Able to work as part of a team, but confident when working independently and unsupervised;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships within the team, across the organisation, and with external suppliers and clients;
- Proficient in the use of MS Office; Word, Excel PowerPoint, and MS Outlook;
- Experience in design, photography, social media, and website operations is a huge advantage;
- Able to speak Mandarin and or Cantonese is an absolute advantage;
- With your naturally empathetic and resilient nature, you'll be able to stay positive even when the pressure may be on;
- Attention to detail and pride in your work, that meets a high professional and competitive standard;
- Excellent time management skills;
- A great multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise;
- Self-motivated and team-driven.
Joy type: Full-time Permanent
Days required: 5-6 days/week
Hours per week: at least 30 hours, maximum 55 hours/week.
