**Who are we?**

Branding liquor limited T/A Indian Dreams is a well-established Indian restaurant located in Rolleston and Linwood, known for its authentic North-Indian cuisine, attentive service, and welcoming family-friendly environment.
We are proud to serve both local residents and visitors from across Canterbury and are now seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house and overall operations.

**Following are the duties, you need to perform**:

- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and supervise team members to maintain high performance standards.
- Liaise with chefs regarding menu planning, seasonal changes, and quality control.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with food-safety, health & safety, and employment legislation.
- Oversee stock management and supplier coordination.
- Respond to customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
- Coordinate private functions, takeaway, and catering orders.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase local engagement.
- Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative workplace culture.
- You may need to serve customers as well.
- any other tasks as and when required.

**You will need the following skills**:

- Must hold a relevant qualification OR at least 2-3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
- Sound understanding of restaurant operations, customer-service principles, and stock control.
- Strong organisational, financial, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Must have a clean criminal record and pass pre-employment checks.
- Must have clean criminal history
