**What does a Dental Assistant do?**
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our team, supporting our skilled clinicians during a range of dental procedures. Your responsibilities will also include instrument sterilisation, infection control, and stock management. Working alongside experienced dentists provides you with a unique opportunity to learn and grow in your career, gaining valuable insights into top-tier dental practices.

**What does a Sterilisation Assistant do?**
A Dental Sterilisation Assistant ensures dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilised following strict infection control protocols. They prepare sterilised instruments for procedures, maintain hygiene standards, manage sterilisation supplies, and keep workspaces clean. Their role is vital in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in the dental practice.

**Qualifications**
To thrive in this role, you will bring the following qualities:

- ** Previous experience as a Dental Assistant/Sterlisation Assistant** is essential.
- ** Experience in reception or customer-facing roles** is a bonus.
- ** Flexibility and willingness** to support your team when needed.
- Strong **organizational skills** with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A **positive, team-oriented mindset** in everything you do.
- ** Proficiency with computers** and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and assemble trays for all dental procedures.
- Sterilise dental instruments following strict infection control protocols.
- Ensure a clean and hygienic environment throughout the practice.
- Clean and sterilise chairs between patient appointments.
- Assist with other tasks as needed by the wider clinical team.
