IDEXX is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Veterinary Laboratory Technician** to join our dedicated team in a full-time capacity at our state-of-the-art laboratory in Hamilton, New Zealand. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and timely diagnostic testing services for IDEXX Reference Laboratories.

This role will be a 12-month fixed term role with a potential to extend at the end of the 12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a global leader in veterinary diagnostics while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

** You will have**:

- A Bachelor of Medical Science/or equivalent degree.
- Experience working in in a diagnostics laboratory
- An understanding of IANZ and ISO 17025, standards
- The ability to be flexible and comfortable with full time hours between Monday-Saturday on rotating day shifts.
- Experience in operating efficiently and effectively to meet tight turnaround times in a commercial lab environment
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
