**We’re looking for someone who**
- Wants to help shape how people experience public transport in the Waikato. This is a hands-on opportunity to support real campaigns for BUSIT, Te Huia, and Flex—making a difference in how we connect communities.

- You’re studying marketing, communications, media, design, or a related field, and you’re ready to put your creativity to work.
- You’re a strong communicator, digitally savvy, and comfortable creating content for social media, print, and digital platforms.
- We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in public transport and community engagement.
- You must be available full-time over summer, have excellent written English, and be confident using digital tools.

**Mō te tūranga**| About the role**:

- This is a fixed-term, full-time position running from mid-November 2025 to mid-February 2026 (dates flexible).
- You’ll help deliver marketing and passenger communications for BUSIT, Te Huia, and Flex—creating content, supporting campaigns, and helping with community engagement.
- Expect a mix of hands-on creative work and office-based collaboration with the Public Transport Team.
- You’ll be involved in social media, campaign planning, content creation, and engagement and event support.
- You’ll work alongside experienced marketing and transport professionals who will support your learning and development.
- By the end of summer, you’ll have contributed to real-world campaigns, built your portfolio, and gained valuable experience in public sector communications.
- This role is based at Hamilton Transport Centre
