**About the Role**

Right now, we have some great fixed term opportunities - we are looking for a few Hosts (Pou Tiaki) to join our Walter Nash Centre Team.

The fixed term contract will run for 3 months, and you'd be working on one of these following rosters:

- 40 hours Sunday-Thursday AM shift 7.30am-4pm OR 40 hours Tuesday-Saturday PM shift 2.30-11pm

In this role, working in both the Stadium and the Library, you'll be responsible for day-to-day Library activity including assisting in running programs and in the Stadium, transporting and setting up equipment such as netball goals, floorball rinks, futsal goals, and volleyball nets across multiple courts. You'll also assist in organising meeting rooms by moving tables and chairs and setting up table tennis tables every Thursday night. Your tasks will include cleaning all courts and bleachers, mopping spills, and preparing for major events like Hutt Fest and Wellington Lego, which require extensive set-up of carpets and stages. With a focus on the sport, event and library activity here at the Centre, there is opportunity to work alongside our community to create and deliver programmes and events.

The purpose of this position is to deliver customer-centric services that are responsive to the community's needs, optimise our spaces for community use and increase awareness of and engagement with community regarding council wide services.
