Located in the Heart of the Auckland CBD, with sweeping views of the City and the Viaduct Harbour, The Sebel Quay West & Viaduct Harbour feature stylish apartments and suites. The 4.5 star Hotels are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. This exciting leadership opportunity is overlooking both properties, working closely with the Maintenance Manager.

This position is responsible for all maintenance issues within the Hotel to deliver an excellent guest experience while performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating projects.
- Identify and resolve maintenance defects, complete tasks as part of the preventative maintenance program.
- Committed to promoting sustainability and to encourage the effective use of energy and water.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
- Be the main point of contact for any property related maintenance during the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist in maintaining the Hotel buildings, budgets, expenses and activity logs and monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
- Prepare rosters and first level approval of timesheets for the department.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in Maintenance with trade experience and skills across multiple buildings; hotel industry experience is essential
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
- Awareness of energy reporting and how metrics works for effective monitoring and reduction.
- Understanding and ability to complete administrative processes, understanding departmental costs and creation/implementation of a preventative maintenance plan.
- Experience working within a Body Corporate environment and being a spokesperson for the company on Maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity in the use and completion of tasks on Opera and My Bos property management systems.

**Additional Information** This role is Full Time Permanent - 40 Hours Per Week - $30 per hour**
