This is a full time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $108,644 to $153,379 p.a. (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
This role will provide you an opportunity to make a difference through optimising 3 Waters distribution across the Wellington Region. You will take the lead on strategic planning and delivering network investigations that will ultimately lead to improved reliability of drinking water supply for the community and environmentally safe and efficient distribution of wastewater.
With a strong emphasis on collaboration this role will also see you:
- Lead challenging and interesting investigations across 3 Waters networks
- Involved in tactical planning across the regions wastewater treatment plants
- Mentor and develop graduate and intermediate engineers
- Support the capital program and investment planning processes for our client councils
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification such as a Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Chemical/Process, Environmental, Mechanical or Civil Engineering). CPeng highly desired.
- Strong technical knowledge in wastewater treatment
- Sharp investigative skills with a solutions focus
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
