**The role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional based in Auckland, Christchurch, or Tauranga to join us as Sales & Commercial Underwriting Support. This role sits in our high-performing Operations Team which makes up a critical part of our wider broker facing underwriting function. The team is supportive, fun and passionate about providing exceptional customer service

**Responsibilities**
- Preparing renewal invitations.
- Regularly liaising with and assisting underwriters and brokers in the quoting and renewal process.
- Receiving and answering queries from our broker partners.
- Ensuring all risks are underwritten and accepted within authorised limits.
- Staying on top of industry changes & trends.

**Qualifications and experience**
- 1-2 years’ of insurance experience in an underwriting role, broker support role, or similar, preferably handling commercial product lines.
- Will be able to thrive in detail, while looking to learn and grow in the insurance world.
- Will be comfortable following up documentation from both internal and external customers.
- Will be proactive with great verbal and written communication.
