The Senior Advisor Procurement supports our success as an educator by using a value-for-money approach, being innovative, influencing decisions and delivering robust, timely outcomes. The Senior Advisor manages end-to end tendering processes and provides advice and guidance on purchasing and tendering procedures, while implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce cost. Key responsibilities include:

- Provision of procurement/contractual/commercial advice
- Procurement and category planning and analysis
- Tender development and process management
- Contract drafting, negotiation and maintenance.
- Supporting Takiwā and Uepū with supplier performance management and contract reviews
- Contract variations
- Process/contract model improvements

This role works cross-functionally with a range of internal stakeholders and is a key part of the Procurement team whose relationships internally and with suppliers are strong.

**Mōu (About you)**
- 3+ years procurement experience, running end-to-end tender processes (public sector procurement experience would be ideal).
- Contract management experience.
- Broad knowledge of procurement concepts, methodologies, and commercial practices.
- Sound communication, organisation, prioritisation and workload management skills.
- Proven ability to build lasting, credible relationships with others.
