Quality Specialist

**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist to join our team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be able to provide a strong focus on incident management focussing on quality and continuous improvement through learning and review.

You will have a strong focus on investigating and trouble shooting issues within the production and quality units in order to identify root causes and advise on preventative actions.
- Maintaining a good understanding of critical quality processes
- Investigating, Providing Solutions and Reporting issues within the production and quality units on site
- Identification of root causes and corrective and preventative actions.
- Innovation through continuous improvement
- Positive management of problems and people

Key to your success will be your proactive response to aiding others in their learning and your ability to build strong and supportive relationships with internal and external teams.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this role will require
- Experience in a food/dairy manufacturing environment
- The ability and enthusiasm to learn and aid others learning proactively
- Pride in your work and the accomplishments you achieve
- Proven knowledge of food safety and HACCP systems
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word

A tertiary education in Dairy/Food Science or Technology is highly regarded in this role as is previous auditing experience.
