**Your day to day**
Whilst supervising the overall operations of all team members during rostered shifts, you will have a particular focus on guest engagement within the restaurant, room service and banquets.
- Ensuring that all guests are provided with superior customer service at all times;
- Maintain a visible appearance and operational focus in all outlets;
- Conduct effective shift briefings ensuring that team members are aware of all VIP's, special occasions, daily specials etc.;
- Ensure the correct and careful use of all equipment in the department;
- Ensure that all team members understand and uphold the hotel's code of responsible service of alcohol
This role is varied every day and that's the beauty of it. You could be meeting with our team first hand to find out all about it.
**What we need from you**
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third partied that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company;
- Problem solving and training abilities;
- Ability to train and relay information to the team;
- Minimum 1 year's related experience as a Team Leader or equivalent;
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage or related field is beneficial but not required;
- Be able to demonstrate IHG True Hospitality service behaviours.
