Join us at **Crowne Plaza Auckland** as a **Finance Specialist** where you can begin your career adventure by working alongside our incredible team. **Your day to day** As a key member of our finance department, you will have a passion for numbers and a drive for results - Perform daily reconciliation of the Guest and Accounts Receivable Ledgers; - Review all debtors "checked out" with an outstanding balance; - Process all debtors receivable, advance deposits, and sundry charges to the appropriate ledger; - Set up and control all prepaid functions; - Perform Accounts Payable tasks as required by the Director of Finance & Assistant Manager of Finance; - Follow up on accounts payable statements and invoices with supplier; - Processes of credit card refunds. This role has responsibility for banking, customer refunds, resolving customer queries, Accounts payable and assisting the centralised Business Services Centre with accounts receivable. You will also assist the Assistant Manager of Finance & Business Support with internal control compliance. This role involves working closely with Reservations, Front office, and Groups and Events teams to ensure accurate billing and timely receiving of payments. **What we need from you** - A passion for numbers - A strong attention to detail - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance - Working knowledge of Opera is beneficial but not a requirement - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel **What we offer** Join our extraordinary world and experience a place where you can be yourself, share your ideas, support your personal growth and wellbeing, and be a valued member of an inspirational team.
