About the Role
Location would preferrably be in our Wellington office.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years’ experience:

- Managing, supporting, and/or implementing Genesys Cloud (preferred) or Genesys PureConnect/Engage
- Developing system extensions and custom handlers for Genesys Cloud (preferred) or Genesys PureConnect/Engage
- Developing back-end services for Genesys, using AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure services
- Active Genesys certifications, including GCCA, GCCP, ICCE, (required) and GCCD, GCSCS, GCODCS, GCQMCS, GCACS, GCWMCS (desired)
- Good knowledge of industry standards and government regulations relevant to data communications / networking.
- Extensive experience and specialist skills in the configuration and maintenance of networking/communications infrastructure, including the ability to support a variety of technologies
- Advanced operational knowledge of networking systems and software covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
- Intermediate project management skills and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with a customer service orientation
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.

What you'll do
- Installing, testing and maintaining systems software and firmware for assigned projects
- Work directly with clients to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users.
- Conducting user requirements analysis to match customers’ needs to company products/services.
- Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution.
- Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements.
- Remedy problems and provide technical consultation to users in line with the established support model.
- Monitoring the performance of the organisation’s communications carriers/network providers in relation to established service level agreements (SLAs) and business needs. Testing, implementing, monitoring and tuning networking software/hardware to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues.
- Managing the analysis of network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to network infrastructures as appropriate.
- Participating in corporate change control procedures and methodologies.
