**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a Deli Assistant you will be constantly interacting with customers and ensuring they are served in an efficient and timely manner. You will be assisting in preparing our delicious deli foods like roast chicken, cheeses, salads, slicing meat, platters and other customer orders. You will also be responsible for ensuring that deli cases are appropriately stocked and relevant merchandising standards are maintained at all times. You will also assist in setting up the cabinet and the hot box whilst strictly adhering to food safety standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the deli area through appropriate daily, weekly, monthly cleaning.

We have full-time roles available with days and hours of work as follows:
**Tuesday to Saturday, 5:00am - 1:30pm**

**Sunday to Thursday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm**

**Friday to Tuesday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm**

Full training will be provided.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Reliable in terms of attendance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly motivated, well-organised, and with a great team attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility to work extra hours or days when requested
- Able to do some lifting
