**About the Role**:
As the Service Deli/Seafood 2IC, you will assist the Deli Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and high-quality products. You’ll play a key role in managing deli staff, maintaining food safety standards, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Deli Manager in day-to-day operations and staff management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product selections.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
- Assist in stock management, ordering, and inventory control.
- Train and mentor deli staff to ensure a knowledgeable team.
- Help create appealing displays and product offerings.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for food and excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and holidays.
