**About The Role:
As Principal QA you will be an expert in the QA field, capable of coaching others and contributing to strategic & tactical planning and delivery of world class outcomes for our users and clients. You lift the quality mindset and practices of those around you, engaging with the QA community both internally and externally.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop and maintain test coverage to verify new feature requirements while building a maintainable clean base for regression coverage.
- Review new upcoming work and identify how to support it by reviewing any existing defects in the area, data required or existing coverage to identify how to best support it.
- Ongoing communication with all stakeholders on quality and time capacity including any roadblocks or risks to the project or Automation failures.
- Defect Backlog grooming and maintenance - triage of defects with team
- Communication with team on Risk Analysis for each release.
- Investigate Automation failures & give support to growing coverage.
- Mentor team members on new integrations & present at knowledge sharing sessions.
- Collaborates, Improves, and upholds Quality practices. Become an expert of the domain and customer perspective.
**Key Requirements**:
- 7+ years industry experience.
- Strong Experience with API, UX, E2E, and data validation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self starter who can identify gaps and take initiative to resolve them. Experience collaborating in the planning of initiatives collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Knowledge of SQL very beneficial.
- Knowledge of a defect life cycle/ workflow including test management, defect
management tools.
- Azure DevOps and App Insights valuable but not mandatory. Ability to understand or write C#, TypeScript a bonus but not mandatory.
