You'll be working with card transactions, and our card switch. **About you**: We'll value your proven initiative, problem solving abilities and leadership skills as we look for every engineer to lead from their position. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will also provide mentoring and coaching to other developers, contribute to technical design /architecture and to the growth of the overall team's capability and competence. We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of technical skills, including: - Significant experience in.Net stack. - API Development experience - Proficient in Agile development methodologies. - Best practice standards in code development, quality and technical design. - In depth understanding of T-SQL. - Knowledge of Payments domain and Card transactions (Switch, Issuing, Acquiring) - Strong experience working with CI/CD tools, preferable Azure pipelines and Octopus Deploy or similar In addition, the following would be an advantage: - Some experience working in Azure (ideally with AKS, Key Vaults ). - Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies like K8s, Docker. - Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ - Exposure and experience with Kibana (Elastic) - Experience with Windows services would be beneficial - Experience with Linux command line scripting would be beneficial **Working for ASB**: ASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
