Digital Engineering Lead

In GHD Digital, the Digital Engineering (DE) Team engage with clients and project teams to create solutions in the areas of digital engineering, building information management (BIM), 3D/4D/5D modelling, virtual design and construction (VDC), parametric design, automation, optimisation and other digital capabilities.

In this role, you will develop strong relationships with new and existing clients and project teams, and bring innovation to the development of DE solutions that deliver complex and interesting critical infrastructure

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Providing excellent client service in the areas of Digital Engineering / BIM, advisory, project information management and training
- Lead or contribute to BIM / Digital Engineering projects and implementation
- Assess current digital capability and risks
- Contribute towards the achievement of revenue, utilisation and productivity targets
- Build effective relationships with other GHD teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to business development strategies and proposals, plus identify new opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor and provide advice to Digital Engineering (DE) and Building Information Management (BIM) project delivery personnel on frameworks, implementation, technologies and solutions.
- Playing a leading role in the ongoing development of BIM across multi-discipline projects
- Leading the development of our local knowledge base related to digital information management in accordance with ISO19650
- Actively assist in driving growth of DE capabilities and revenue channels
- Integrate DE advice and solutions into major project opportunity planning, proposals and projects.
- Development of a strategic offer and implementation of capture planning around BIM, Model Management and Asset Management that provides a broader service offer to current and future clients
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Experience within digital, consulting or engineering in a similar role
- Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM and ISO19650 practices
- Ability to distil technical detail and enable a range of stakeholders to participate in digital design enhancement of projects
- Well-developed communication skills to facilitate positive client engagement in relation to BIM initiatives
- Degree qualification in a related discipline
- Solid understanding and passion for digital transformation
