The Wayward Pigeon is a Bar/Restaurant located in Hamilton in a growing local area offering a wide range of services to the community around us running Charity quizzes, wedding receptions as well as many other Function in the dedicated function room and showing all the big Sporting events. This state of the art “local pub” services the suburbs of Rototuna, Chartwell and Queenwood and has a great local community. The Wayward Pigeon features designated bar, restaurant and function areas as well as some really great outdoor spaces. The bar has a great selection of Beers and wines. We are owned & operated by Kāpura, who own multiple bars and restaurants around Wellington, Tauranga and we also have a sister venue in Hamilton - The Roaming Giant

- You have experience running a large hospitality business or you're an up and comer looking to further your career with experience in the industry.
- You have the ability to build great rapport with customers and staff alike
- You will be able to work towards targets and have passion and enthusiasm for the industry
- You are keen on being part of Kāpura, and are looking to work and grow with us
- You have a valid LCQ and manager’s licence, it is essential for compliance purposes
- You are a great communicator with a positive attitude
- You are a committed, motivating leader who is keen to develop their team
- You have an excellent understanding of sound cost control & revenue generating ability
