**About us**:
Hawke’s Bay Hospital is a 364 bed hospital providing acute and elective care for the Hawke's Bay region. In addition to psychiatry, we have a busy Emergency Department, most major medical and surgical subspecialties on site (except cardiothoracic and neurosurgery), as well as paediatrics and O&G. We are well supported by a strong regional ICU team. We have extensive Primary and Community health services and an increasingly integrated approach to health and health care.

**About our team**:
The 5 Paediatric Registrars work as a team with 5 House Officers and 9 Specialist Consultants. The 10 RMO’s share a combined roster, covering all acute areas including the Children's Ward, Level 2A Special Care Baby Unit and Delivery Suite. This role also includes significant supervised Outpatient Clinic experience.

**About you**:

- Suitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY3 or above.
- Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand
