We have an opportunity for a Privacy & Data Ethics Senior Manager OR Manager to join the tīma (team). This tūranga (role) will be responsible for assisting the Privacy Officer with supporting BNZ's implementation and ongoing compliance to its privacy standards and obligations.

We sat down with our Head of Privacy & Data Ethics (who you'd report to), and she let us know the following about the tūranga (role);
**What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Acting as an advisor to the business units and Data Stewards on a variety of complex privacy, data protection, and data ethics issues.
- Working on privacy and data ethics impact assessments to consider the risks associated with change and advising on ways to mitigate privacy and data ethics risks.
- Assisting the business in complying with internal policies, privacy laws, and industry best practices
- Monitoring and evaluating the existing privacy framework to identify areas of non or partial compliance.

We are looking for someone with a passion for privacy and ensuring the best possible kiritaki (customer) outcomes. You will also have an understanding of regulatory requirements within the context of privacy and data management and usage of both nationally and internationally.
