We are passionately committed to the health and wellness of New Zealand, and to providing the best support, equitable care and advice to our communities **About Marshlands Family Health Centre -** We have an opening in our busy medical centre, Marshlands Family Health Centre. This is a permanent full time position rostered for 40 hours across Monday to Friday. The purpose of this role is to assist in the day to day running and management of the centre. **Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**: - Working with the Medical Centre Leadership team to lead and support all practice staff - Continuous Quality Improvement and Risk Management. Being familiar with legislation and ensuring that the centre is legally compliant. - Financial Management - Human Resources: conduct interviews, oversee recruitment, complete appropriate weekly reports, ensure personnel files are up to date. - Maintain key internal and external relationships, to ensure a harmonious and professional working environment. **You will bring to the role**: - Prior experience in Practice Management in a GP practice desirable. - Previous primary care management or administration experience. - Understanding of Cornerstone Accreditation and Quality improvement experience - Understanding of primary care funding mechanisms. - Financial management and/or accounting skills. - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Resilience and ability to problem solve - Be honest, reliable and self motivated. - Be able to work independently and in a team to meet goals and deadlines. - Ability to delegate and direct others in a positive and sensitive way.
