No two days are the same. - We have an exciting opportunity in our Digital Channels domain for an Intermediate Automation Tester - Web Applications to be part of the change in digital banking across New Zealand. - This tūranga is based at our BNZ Place Auckland office. The tūranga is hybrid with 3 days per week in office, and 2 days per week working from home. - Mō te Tūranga | About the tūranga - We sat down with the People Leader, and they let us know the following about the tūranga. - What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? - Working with BAs and developers to create automated checks using existing tools. - Working with their agile team to develop a common understanding of the business requirements, and understanding underlying business intent, procedures and systems. - Clearly communicating defects to the business and their agile team. - What is the tīma culture and environment like? - Join a vibrant domain of highly skilled professionals united in their passion for innovation and collaboration. If you are a talented and motivated Intermediate Automation Tester we have a spot for you What capabilities will you need in order to be successful in this tūranga?- 2 - 5 Years practical experience in Experience in modern Quality Assurance and test automation practices in Agile environments.- Provide QA expertise and drive best practices across the tīma.- Previous use of version control systems.- Experience in Web Application Testing tools such as React Testing Library, Jest, Playwright.- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar and agile delivery practices.- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern cloud environments- A growth and continuous improvement focused mindset.- Analysis and Problem Solving.- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
