We are looking for a Rope Access Technician who will also be completing absailing work (high rise buildings) for our Tauranga based company. Please note that you will be travelling within the Wellington, Auckland and Waikato regions for work. This is a full time and permanent position and will consist of going to different locations within the Wellington, Auckland and Waikato to complete contracted tasks according to plans and guidelines.

To be considered for this position you will have availability for work for 7 days a week and be prepared to work some early mornings and late nights. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames. You will also ideally have knowledge or experience in commercial cleaning; however this is not essential as training will be provided. You must be willing and able to complete a height safety certificate.

You will be also expected to perform tasks at a height using rope access to complete tasks such as building washing, window washing and roof treatments. You will be using specialised machinery and mantaining the machinery and equipment used. Additionally, your tasks will include absailing which is when ropes are used to wash the windows and outside areas of high rise buildings.

This position requires the applicant to be physically fit and have the ability to work for long periods at a time including standing, climbing and using heavy machinery while working with rope access to buildings.

Due to the nature of the position you may be required to undergo a Police Clearance check prior to a contract being provided.

This is a full time Permanent position and successful applicant will be required to complete all cleaning tasks as well as driving to locations within the Bay of Plenty region.

We are looking at a minimum payrate of $35 per hour and a maximum payrate of $40 per hour for this position and we are able to guarantee at least 30 hours per week for each position.
