**The Opportunity/The Role**:
**_ Due to an increase in production capabilities, we are seeking 1 experienced Engineer to join our team based out of Fairfield, Dunedin._**
- Under the guidance of the Engineering Team leader and Engineering Manager, you will carry out all assigned tasks related to the Engineering requirements of the business. This primarily involves upkeep of equipment to a high standard through effective installation, testing, operation, and preventative maintenance, as well as carrying out projects to meet production demands. _
- You will be responsible for:_
- _ Installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment to a high standard. General upkeep and maintenance of equipment, facilities and work-areas, keeping human factors in mind when considering safe operations. _
- _Carry out engineering tasks and projects to ensure that goals are accomplished in a timely manner. _
- _Responding to all maintenance business requirements, effectively communicating with team leaders, management, team members and external contacts as required. _
- _Following all Health and Safety protocols and procedures._

**What you will bring to the table/You/Requirements**:

- Essential Requirements: _
- _Recognised Engineering qualification with a background in fitting and turning or Maintenance in a production environment. _
- _A minimum of 3 years experience in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering._
- _ A strong technical understanding _
- _High levels of attention to detail, problem solving ability and collaboration. _
- Desirable Requirements:_
- _ OSH Endorse Forklift/MEWP Licence _
- _Health and Safety Certificate_
- _ Experience with CNC Programming_
- _ Experience with 2D and 3D CAD_
- _ Working at Heights certificate_
- _ First Aid Certificate_
- _ Limited Electrical Qualification_
