**About the role**:
As a Maintenance Engineer you are a key member of the Timaru based engineering team. In this hands on role, you are responsible for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of all processing equipment and services within the Timaru site. Your eye for detail and experience will see our machinery and equipment running at full capacity with limited downtime, maximising production for our busy operation.

Working closely with the Engineering coordinator, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to get involved in some design and project development to enhance the capability of the Timaru operation.

**What you need to be successful in this role**:

- You will be a competent and experienced engineer, who enjoys working within the production environment
- You will have an eye for detail, ensuring that you are prioritizing preventative maintenance
- You will have a good understanding of industry standards and best practice
- You will have the ability to think on your feet and bring solutions to challenges
