**About the role**

An exciting immediate opportunity for a Dispatch Assistant to join our established team based in our plant. This position will work 8 hours x 5 Days (07:00 - 15:30) & will join a team who are the success behind our Production professionals. You will ensure labels are despatched to the client or receipted into finished goods correctly, in a condition that meets the customers’ requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure labels are packed according to clients specifications
- Ensure labels are delivered to the client in good condition and within the agreed transit period
- Dispatch documentation is maintained
- Record receipt of incoming goods in the log book
- Ensure finished goods entering the store are correctly identified with the appropriate control labels
- Liaise with freight carriers
- Deliver labels to clients. Maintain a courteous manner at all times
- Oversee calibration of equipment and ensure calibration records are completed
- No overs are to be kept as overs. If overs are produced, Despatch staff are to advise the CSR to either sell, create inventory records for holding or destroy
- Rolling stocktake of finished goods to ensure accurate records are maintained. Target accuracy 98%+
- Within the company structure there may be a requirement to assist with other duties if necessary
- Ensure company procedure documents relating to this role and its duties are kept current as per actual processes

**About you**
- Proficiency using a windows based personal computer
- Experience in a warehouse environment and working with raw materials
- Problem solving acumen and trouble shooting abilities
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team
- Attention to detail skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs regularly and stand for long periods
- Physically capable to regularly twist, bend and capable of high reaching
- Conduct manual handling tasks
- Good numerical skills
- Your natural working style is with a sense of urgency
- Flexible & adaptable to change
- Good organisational and time management skills
- High regard for safety
- Must have reliable transport
